Compliance posture

How outreach is gated — conservative defaults, consent, and source rules.

Principle

If we cannot prove a contact is allowed, we block it and route to human review.

Contact gate

Every outbound channel (voice, SMS, email, and related) is evaluated through a shared compliance gate before send. The gate considers:

  • Licensing / state rules
  • Consent and DNC status
  • Channel rules (for example STIR/SHAKEN for voice, 10DLC for SMS, CAN-SPAM for email)
  • Time-of-day and recording-consent constraints where applicable

Unknown or uncertain rules default to blocked.

Lead-source posture (summary)

Different lead sources carry different permission sets. Paid / form / organic sources typically follow standard follow-up with consent from the form or transfer. Proprietary or carrier-adjacent sourced lists are more restrictive (often call-capped, with SMS/email blocked until opt-in). Business-to-business outreach follows business contact rules.

Exact source matrices live in private compliance docs and code — this page states the posture, not the full matrix.

Trust engine

Compliance is not a bolt-on. It is how we keep the distribution platform worthy of the households we serve.
